Universal Avionics is an affluential manufacturer of original avionics systems founded in 1981 with headquarters in Tucson, Arizona. Hubert L. Naimer developed the components of a “Master Navigation System”, which conducted to the evolution of the world’s first Flight Management System. Nowadays its major focus is on cockpit instrument displays and Flight Management Systems for commercial, business and private aircraft.

On August 10th, 2017 in Tucson Arizona, Universal Avionics publicized FAA approved Technical Standard Order permission for the company’s insight display system. New aircraft platforms and improved technologies which were not available or in use at the time of the original manufacture will benefit from InSight.

Ice and water features along with large amount of territory details were incorporated by InSight in the Universal’s next age simulated vision. On the other hand radio control and broadcast weather were added as improved characteristics. Moreover the following are a list of additional qualities :

- The pilot has the option of choosing his display screen design.
- Set design options for various autopilot categories, weather radar systems, air data systems.
- High speed Ethernet bus that demands reduced wiring and hardly any terminations for display- to- display transmission and display control.
